Meet Christopher and Carly! I was really looking forward to this wedding! I met Carly and Christopher just days prior to their wedding and when they were describing the feel of their day I was excited! I ADORE outdoor ceremonies and tented receptions! There is something magical about shooting under a willow tree! Completely beautiful and we were blessed with a slight breeze off the water! Perfection!

 

There were quite a few little touches for this wedding that were sentimental to Christopher and Carly. The old willow tree was 100’s of years old and it was in the yard of Christopher’s dad and step mom’s home. So sweet of them welcome everyone to their haven on the lake! There was an old wooden boat that was Carly’s grandfather’s and the couple took a little boat ride! How special is that? Christopher wore his grandfather’s tie clip and his wedding band was given to him by his grandmother as it was his grandfather’s! I loved that!! So sentimental!  The band was chosen as they were the band that was playing on Christopher and Carly’s first date! I know there were more little touches, but these were a few that I thought were fun to share!

 

Christopher and Carly…thank you for sharing your special day with me! Amy and I enjoyed meeting all of your friends and family and it was truly a wonderful celebration! I hope you were able to relax on your honeymoon:)

    Carly Cordova - Kelly! These are fabulous! More wonderful than I ever imagined! You did a great job capturing the details, some of which I am seeing for the first time, so fun! We just loved having you as our photographer, it was like having a friend chase us around all day with a camera! Very easy. I loved that you grabbed us when you needed us and told us what to do, we needed that! I can’t wait to see the rest and do our beach the dress shots!

Meet Dave and Susan!  I LOVED this wedding! It was calm and relaxed and this couple was simply a joy to work with and get to know! They had a wonderful wedding on a beautiful Michigan day and we even stopped for a beer…how fun is that? (not me, them:) ha

 

You can tell from the images just what kind of day we had! Dave and Susan’s wedding party was simply delightful and their families were so kind and sweet! I truly do love meeting everyone on the wedding day!

It was also great to work with Events by September’s Bride! The decor was beautiful! I loved all of the details!!!

I also LOVE Spring Lake Country Club! The venue is beautiful and I love having the willow tree across the street as an added bonus!

They also had a rockin band that they adore! Thanks Funktion!

 

Dave and Susan…thank you for allowing me to be  a part of your wedding day! Selena and I had such a fun day with you and your friends and family! Enjoy your images!!

Meet the Christensen Family…Josh, Amy, Emily and Hilary! They are just the sweetest family you ever did meet! I met Josh through friends as he is an amazingly talented carpenter! I can’t wait for him to spruce up my home this fall!

I chatted with Amy in the weeks leading up to their session and I always love to incorporate something that the family loves to do together for something meaningful to them. Amy suggested the school playground that the girls attend during the school year. Perfect! We were blessed with a beautiful evening and Emily and Hilary were simply delightful! I have two boys at home so I am always excited to see pops of pink and bows and cute shoes!:)

Christensen Family…I hope you love these images as much as I loved capturing your sweet fam! You can truly see the love and laughter you all share! Enjoy..they sure do grow quickly!

Meet Kellen and Anne. They were married this past weekend on a little private island with only 30 or so guests in attendance. Can I just say that it was perfect?
