Silas and Christy’s wedding was beautiful. I truly mean that. It was God centered and I felt that all day long. I shot this wedding alone and it was refreshing! I typically do not shoot without a 2nd shooter but this wedding was smaller and I was able to shoot it alone. I LOVE what I shot for them! I can’t wait to share!

Silas and Christy…thank you for allowing me to document  your most special day!  I could feel the love that surrounded both of you from your many friends and family! So fun to see a day full of laughter and love! The toasts at your wedding are ones that I will not soon forget. So touching and from the heart! Meet Andrew and Anna.

They are such a quiet and kind couple! I remember driving down to Ann Arbor for their engagement session and meeting them for the first time. Ana is soft spoken with a contagious laugh..Andrew is sweet and charming and obviously loves Ana with his big heart!

I knew this wedding would be sweet and relaxed, but I didn’t realize How relaxedAna’s mother is equally as quiet as Ana, but has this calming effect on you! She offered me food the entire day and gave me yummy goodies to tuck away in my bag! She is truly a delight! I can see where Ana gets her sweet demeanor! Andrew’s family was equally as sweet and I often feel bad not mentioning the groom’s family more in my posts, but truth be told..I dont’ typically get to spend much time with them. I am always with the bride getting ready and I meet her mom there:) So…I just wanted to clarify…ALL of my groom’s parents and family has treated me so kindly, as well! I had to mention this as I think about my life with boys! It truly is a different role when your daughter is getting married v.s your son. I may have to push my way into the bridal suite when Jack gets married! haha  Ok…back to Andrew and Ana:)

I must also mention how fun it was to see my past clients Kim and Jared! I LOVE recommendations from my couples and it is soo fun to catch up a bit! I hope to see them again soon(hint:)

Andrew and Ana! Thank you for allowing me to document your love! It was truly a magical day and Selena and I had the best time! Can I also mention How Much I LOVED the fact that you did not have a bridal party? That was so special for the two of you to focus on your love and connection the entire day! What a welcome change of pace:) *disclaimer…I don’t hate bridal partiesBut, the smaller the bridal party…the more time you have for Everything:) What a wonderful day all around!

Meet Mike & Kelly. They are a super sweet couple who met in High School! Don’t you just love stories like that! I met my husband in 8th grade and the rest is history!

I have been looking forward to this wedding as Kelly and I have similiar style! She is most defintely more adorable and more fashionable than I am, but none the less…I knew I would adore her little touches and fab details! Kelly did not disappoint! She found a few DIY’s on pinterest and they turned out beautifully! It is always so fun to arrive at the venue and know you are going to love everything!

I arrived at Kelly’s parents home and was warmly welcomed by her family and friends. Everyone that surrounded Mike and Kelly’s day were completely gracious and sweet! There were so many moments of contagious laughter and sweet moments of tears, as well. Kelly is the  baby of the family and I loved hearing all of the back stories leading up to this special day! Mike’s family was equally as funny and wonderful!

Mike and Kelly laugh and love very easily together! As you will see from the photographs…we had an amazing time and these two are completely smitten with each other! I love that!

Thank you to Kelly Powers for shooting with me..it’s always fun and I adore your sweet spirit!  As well as Jenn and her team from Modern Day Floral! I Always LOVE what she comes up with! Simply Beautiful floral Always! It was my pleasure to work with Bradley Productions…this was my first time working with this video team and they were the nicest videographers around! I can’t wait to see the video! I must also add that shooting at Cascasd Hills Country Club is always a treat as the lighting is always perfect!  A truly wonderful team for a beautiful couple!

Mike and Kelly…thank you for sharing your day with me!  I had such a great time getting know your sweet families and friends! What an amazing celebration and I couldn’t be happier with the images!  I hope you all stay in touch
