This session is near and dear to my heart. It is just a small sample of the type of sessions I will be offering. If you can think:  REAL life..REAL activiites that are unique to YOUR family…Moments in Between the stiff smiles and overly posed shots…then we will be a Great fit! I am a mama first and foremost…this is the stuff I want to remember! Our babies grow up right before our eyes and then these moments are forever gone…but, not if we document them! I can’t wait for these sessions this season!

This family LOVES the cottage! We ventured to Pentwater to document how the live and love near the water! I honestly left out SO many as the slideshow is already TOO long! I will get better at narrowing them down, but I just love too many! I always want to tell the whole story:)

Enjoy the slideshow..you will see the Alcumbrack  family giggling over blueberry pancakes…reading devotionals, shucking corn, fishing, smores, splashing in Lake MI and story time and wrestle fights! Whew…that was a fun filled day if I do say so myself. Although typically the sessions I offer will not have This many activities..I wanted to showcase options:) And honestly…these are all true to this family…so win win:)

Ok..back to sweetie little Scarlett Mae. This is Chad and Dee’s first baby and she couldn’t be any more adorable! I photographed this beauty at home(my favorite) and loved what I shot of her and her beautiful parents!

Chad and Dee…it has been so fun to see your life progress from engaged couple to married…newleyweds to parents! Snuggle that baby as much as you can…funny thing is…when you feed them…they Grow! They certainly do not stay little long! Enjoy every minute!

Jenny has two daughters…Madison is her oldest and Bree is the youngest. For over 3 years now the girls have been involved in service projects that Jenny and the girls decided on and have donated so many things to Devos Children’s Hospital. The girls put customized boxes all around Greenville a few years ago so kids could receive “poke” prizes every time they had to have blood drawn or a shot. They collected flavored chap stick, colorful band aids and match box cars to name a few. Just recently the girls took on another service project…Donating hair for Kids with Hair loss! They had a local salon( Llamage Salon) hold a day at the salon where kids can donate their hair…the date is Ocotber 6th.  Can you believe that Madi and Bree just cut their hair for other kids and little Bree is now in Need of That Very Hair? The Dr’s say her hair will fall out soon and she was still excited to donate her own hair! IF that doesn’t speak to your heart, right?? I do not think anything is a coincidence. God has a plan for this family. I do not know what that plan looks like and it does not ease the pain they are facing..but, one thing is for certain…their story is truly inspiring, amazing and beyond my comprehension. I am in awe of their faith.

Jenny asked me to come to the hospital to photograph the girls donating their hair. I was honored. Jenny’s friend and stylist, Tara, came to cut their hair at the hospital I just kept thinking…this is overwhelming…to think that they are giving at this particular time is amazing!  Jenny and Chris have amazing children. Justin is the oldest and he is awesome, as well! I know if he had long enough hair…he would have donated some too!

Jenny and Chris..our family loves you. Praying and uplifting your family during this trying time. So many are on their knees for your sweet little girl. You are very loved!!!

She has put together a FREE wedding template for your time line and although we can customize it together….it truly is a great resource to have! I HIGHLY reccommend hiring an event planner if you can. Who doesn’t want less stress and all of your ideas to come to fruition? Rhi, as well as other planners I love, can help you with many options that suit your planning needs. I know Hey Gorgeous Events now offers day of coordination,as well! Ok..onto the photo shoot. Back story. Micah Begged asked me NOT to bring my camera. For two reasons: fear of someone stealing it out of our room and fear of HIM having to carry it around all week all the while listening to my boys whine about ONE.MORE.PHOTO. So…I refrained! I asked my friend Jessica to bring along her 50D so I would at least have Something! (thank you, Jess:) So…after the images I am sharing…my husband now knows how important it is for my “fancy” camera to come along on our vacations!  I did document our vacay with my iphone and you can peek at our time there on instagram…follow me under kellybraman ….it’s addicting so you have been warned:) ha

The boys knew this hour was coming. I prepped them all week for a few minutes with mom for a FEW photos! Well..little charlieb. had a headache and honestly wasn’t feeling so hot…so I snapped fast and this is what I came up with! Jack on the other hand…loved a few minutes of fame and we grabbed a few more frames of just him on the beach. I LOVE what I was able to get in just a few minutes! I hope you love them too:)

I hope everyone has been enjoying these unusually warm temps and much needed sunshine in the last few weeks! I wanted to update you and let you know that I will be traveling out of the country with all of my sweet boys to Sunny Mexico for some much needed downtime! Typically I would take my laptop and work here and there, but I have been feeling a tug to simply UNPLUG! I work so very hard during my busy season and I want to give that same attention to my family:) I am excited to be completely “present” and fully enjoy every moment with my family:) I encourage everyone to do this at some point! We live in such a Fast-paced world and to be completely unplugged not only makes my heart beat fast at the thought, but reminds me that I need to do more of it! You know the old saying…Work Hard, Play Hard? Well…I am putting that to the test this week! I can’t wait to splash in the ocean…snorkel in the reefs and my oldest wants to parasail! Doesn’t he know his mama is afraid of heights?? I won’t let fear stop me from trying things so I will let you know how it goes:)

I would love it if you could keep my family in your prayers as we travel. It is not a secret that I do not love to fly so prayers for safety and peace would  be much appreciated!

I look forward to sharing our adventures upon my return!

Micah and I can't wait to spend a whole uninterrupted week with these two amazing boys!

Meet the Kuehl Family. Cody and Shonda are parents to two sweet as pie little girls: Katie(the oldest) and Bella(the baby girl:)  They  are great friends to my fabulous friend and designer, Heather Haveman!  Heather contacted me about shooting a session for sweet Katie as she was recently diagnosed with cancer. Little Katie will be losing her hair soon so how great that I was able to document their family prior to that sad day!  I LOVE what I captured for this Amazingly Adorable Family!  How can you go wrong with American Apparel on the girls and custom tu tu’s?? They loved getting dressed up and running around with suckers and bright balloons! The weather was unusually warm for this time of year and we were completely blessed by the sunshine!

Kuehl Family…thank you for allowing me to document the love of your family! I hope you had as much fun as I did:) I loved seeing the sweet interaction you have with your beautiful daughters! They grow right before our eyes and that is truly why I fell in love with photography…you will now forever have these images to cherish! I have been SO excited to share this post! Mark and Nicole were married in December. We all know the lighting is pretty much pitch black out by 5pm! So…they asked me to hold a “day after” session in their wedding attire and I happily obliged! Now..you know I had many more ideas than just their wedding dress and suit! They are a young couple who are madly in love and full of life! How perfect for us to do something fun! They were completely on board for my ideas and I love that about my clients!  I have said this before, but it is SO true…when you trust me…that is when the Magic happens! I have to say that I am IN LOVE with this session!  We started out with a few shots of what they wore on their wedding day…it was Super windy and did I mention, FREEZING?!  Then we switched into a soft pale pink scarf and Nicole discovered she could tie her hair back in it…perfect! We ended with some super fun shots and were blessed with that golden light that I love:) Mark and Nicole were Amazing! We held the session at my family propery as I knew we would need to take breaks and warm up by the fireplace:) It was the perfect setting!!

I also love that this shoot is exactly how I approach all of my sessions and weddings. I Adore Style…I love to showcase REAL emotion, and I  Love to offer some unique and artistic perspectives! It just makes my heart happy!

Nicole and Mark…thank you, again, for sharing not only your wedding day with me, but this super fun and fabulous snowy afternoon!  With this crazy MI weather..we surely were blessed with the look you wanted: SNOW:) YAY!  I couldn’t be happier with your images…ENJOY:))
