I have been so busy with weddings and sessions and being a mama to two Very Active boys! Here is a sample of what my Saturday off looked like! I love my life with boys!

Enjoy your Sunday! I am off to church after a tough loss this morning at Gus Macker and then an East Lansing Engagement Session! Feeling blessed today to have healthy kids and time with family!  Don’t forget to remain thankful for the small things in life…they are the most important! xo

Meet Sam and Katie!  Aren’t they adorable? Katie and I have been chatting via email for quite some time so it was great to finally meet her! She is just as sweet as I pictured she would be:) I adore sessions in fields and of course…lighting is my specialty:) We were blessed with beautiful weather and Sam and Katie trusted my vision:) I am IN LOVE what I shot for them! I was excited the whole time we were were shooting:) That makes my heart happy 🙂

 

Sam and Katie..thank you for braving the weeds and laughing alongside me(er, at me;) Either way…it was a super fun night with you two! Take a peek…I promise you will not be disappointed!

Meet Matt, Jaclyn,Olivia and Colton.

This session is near and dear to my heart. It is just a small sample of the type of sessions I will be offering. If you can think:  REAL life..REAL activiites that are unique to YOUR family…Moments in Between the stiff smiles and overly posed shots…then we will be a Great fit! I am a mama first and foremost…this is the stuff I want to remember! Our babies grow up right before our eyes and then these moments are forever gone…but, not if we document them! I can’t wait for these sessions this season!

This family LOVES the cottage! We ventured to Pentwater to document how the live and love near the water! I honestly left out SO many as the slideshow is already TOO long! I will get better at narrowing them down, but I just love too many! I always want to tell the whole story:)

Enjoy the slideshow..you will see the Alcumbrack  family giggling over blueberry pancakes…reading devotionals, shucking corn, fishing, smores, splashing in Lake MI and story time and wrestle fights! Whew…that was a fun filled day if I do say so myself. Although typically the sessions I offer will not have This many activities..I wanted to showcase options:) And honestly…these are all true to this family…so win win:)

Matt and Jaclyn…thank you for welcoming me into your haven on the beach! It is simply breathtaking and I loved seeing your family’s love! I know you will forever cherish these images:)

Meet Sweet Scarlett Mae! I must admit…this little sweetie is nearly 7 months old now and she is my past bride, dear friend, intern and all around beautiful person: Dee’s baby girl!  Did you get all of that? Dee was a past bride of mine. She loves photography and is certainly amazingly talented in her design/crafting endeavers. She will tell you otherwise, but I know talent when I see it! 🙂 Dee has since become a dear friend of mine and I have been teaching how  TO and NOT to run a business:) She has learned that working a million hours a week is certainly not glamerous and pretty sure not healthy, as well:) She truly was the biggest help last season with her attention to detail…cheerful email replys to clients and mapping out my sessions and routes! She has also become a wonderful photographer, as well! She has an eye for photography and that really isn’t teachable! I am so grateful that God put her on my path. She is truly a wonderful friend!

Ok..back to sweetie little Scarlett Mae. This is Chad and Dee’s first baby and she couldn’t be any more adorable! I photographed this beauty at home(my favorite) and loved what I shot of her and her beautiful parents!

Chad and Dee…it has been so fun to see your life progress from engaged couple to married…newleyweds to parents! Snuggle that baby as much as you can…funny thing is…when you feed them…they Grow! 😉 They certainly do not stay little long! Enjoy every minute!
