Meet the Henderson Family! I met Holly a few years ago at one of her workshops. She was such a breath of fresh air, completely down to earth, and genuinely cared about her craft and helping others. I have since gotten to know her on a more personal level and adore her boys and love seeing them grow over the years:) She is such a talented photographer, business owner and most importantly,is a wonderful mama!
I met her better half just recently at the shoot. Corey had just worked a 12 hour shift and although he was tired..he was a trooper! He knew how important this was for Holly . You see…Holly and Corey and the boys were packing up their home as they were moving in ONE WEEK! They had prayed that the right person would come along to buy their home, but they never expected it to happen in one week’s time 🙂
I made the drive to Kzoo on a muggy week night with my assistant, Dee 🙂 The boys were tired and Holly had been packing around the clock and part of their family had been sick, as well. Boy..this is starting to turn into a country and western song, isn’t it?? ha
I am honored that Holly asked me to document her sweet family on their last night in their home. I know this time was truly so bittersweet. What a great way to remember this sweet time in their lives. As we walked around Holly was telling me of how the first few nights of bringing Davis home…Corey was sprawled out onto the hard wood floors with all of these baby contraptions around to calm the baby. The baby was not in any of them, but rather sound asleep on Corey’s chest. Corey was trying not to wake Holly so she could get some rest. I know this is only one of many stories in their first home together. I can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds 🙂
Holly and Corey…thank you for welcoming me into your home and allowing me to share in these memories with you. I am more than pleased with the outcome and I can’t wait to see them hung on the walls of you new home!
Love and Blessings,
kellyb.
